The A-Side Live Chat: UFC Sacramento fallout, Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix, UFC San Antonio, Tito Ortiz vs. Albert del Rio, more

This is The A-Side Live Chat on MMA Fighting.

Today, José Youngs will be joined by MMA Fighting’s own Danny Segura.

The two will give their reaction to an eventful UFC Sacramento, where fans saw Germaine de Randamie run through Aspen Ladd with a controversial first-round knockout in the night’s main event. Was it the right call by referee Herb Dean? Did de Randamie deserve a post-fight bonus for her win? Where does Ladd go following her first professional loss?

They will also discuss Urijah Faber’s stunning first-round knockout over Ricky Simon in the card’s co-main event. Where does this win put Faber in the bantamweight rankings? Does he actually deserve a shot at reigning champion Henry Cejudo or should he have to take one more fight first? Oh, and what about the stoppage? Did Simon look like he was in serious danger or was it another poor judgement call by the referee?

They will also look ahead to Saturday night’s upcoming UFC San Antonio, featuring a welterweight scrap between Rafael dos Anjos and Leon Edwards. Which fighter can punch their ticket to the top of the division and take the next step to title contention? Also on the card, fans will witness the return of Greg Hardy as he squares off against Juan Adams. Is Hardy a legitimate threat at heavyweight or has he bitten off more than he can chew against Adams?

Also, if there is time, we can preview the upcoming Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix , featuring Sam Sicilia, Pedro Carvalho, Daniel Straus, Derek Campos, Pat Curran, Adam Borics, Emmanuel Sanchez, Tywan Claxton. Patricio Freire, Juan Archuleta, A.J. McKee, Georgi Karakhanyan, Darrion Caldwell, Henry Corrales, Daniel Weichel and Saul Rogers.

There is plenty to discuss, so join us to rap on all of the above and much more. As we always say, this is your show, so we will talk about whatever it is you want us to talk about. The chat will start at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

As usual, we’ll post the video window as the event draws near and answer any questions you might have if you post them in the comments below. For the comments you deem the most deserving, please click the “rec” button. Comments in green will get first priority.
