Urjiah Faber leads all salaries in return from retirement at UFC Sacramento

MMA: UFC Fight Night-Sacramento-Faber vs Simon Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Urijah Faber returned from retirement this past Saturday night, scored a 46-second TKO and ultimately led all the salaries for the athletes competing at UFC Fight Night from Sacramento.

On Monday, the California State Athletic Commission released the disclosed salaries for the card.

Faber led the way for all the fighters on the card after earning $340,000 for his stunning knockout victory over Ricky Simon. “The California Kid” also pocketed an additional $50,000 for a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus for his handiwork.

Faber’s teammate Josh Emmett also took home one of the higher salaries on the card after he earned $98,000 for his first-round finish against Mirsad Bektic. Emmett also earned a $50,000 bonus for his knockout victory.

Former UFC champion Germaine de Randamie earned $90,000 for her 16-second finish against previously undefeated prospect Aspen Ladd. De Randamie needed just one punch to land clean, which put Ladd down on the canvas as referee Herb Dean rushed into stop the fight.

Ladd took home $35,000 in defeat.
