Heading into UFC Sacramento, Jonathan Martinez was looking to pick up his second straight win inside the Octagon.
Standing opposite him was Pingyuan Liu, a Team Alpha Male product riding a nine-fight win streak, which included a pair of decisions to kick off his UFC career.
While the two fought a fairly competitive first two rounds, Martinez ended the bout in devastating fashion as he planted a crippling knee to he jaw of Liu late into the final frame, separating him from his senses.
