Two bouts were added to UFC’s debut card in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Sept. 28, the promotion announced Friday. The Ultimate Fighter winner Macy Chiasson will return to the eight-sided cage to take on Lina Lansberg, while Ion Cutelaba and Khalil Rountree meet in a light heavyweight.
Chiasson (5-0) won the 28th season of the UFC reality show as a featherweight with a second-round submission over Pannie Kianzad, and then moved down to bantamweight to score stoppages over Gina Mazany and Sarah Moras.
Lansberg (9-4) bounced between wins and losses since joining the UFC in 2016, capped off by a decision victory over Tonya Evinger in June. “Elbow Queen” is 3-3 in the Octagon with victories over Lucie Pudilova, Gina Mazany and Evinger, and defeats to Cris Cyborg, Aspen Ladd and Yana Kunitskaya.
Cutelaba (14-4, 1 no-contest) fought for the last time in April, when Glover Teixeira snapped his two-fight winning streak with a rear-naked choke in the second round of their UFC Fort Lauderdale bout.
Rountree (8-3, 1 no-contest) beat Eryk Anders via decision two weeks before at UFC 236, returning to the win column from his only defeat over the last six bouts, a first-round knockout to Johnny Walker in Argentina. Rountree’s UFC run includes stoppage wins over Gokhan Saki and Paul Craig.
UFC Copenhagen will take place at the Royal Arena and features a middleweight collision between Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier in the main event. The event, that also includes Gunnar Nelson vs. Thiago Alves, airs live on ESPN+.
