Both Henry Cejudo and Valentina Shevchenko shocked the MMA world on Saturday night, but each in their respective manner.
The men’s UFC flyweight champion pulled off an incredible comeback win in the main event of UFC 238, which took place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, stopping world-class striker Marlon Moraes. The Olympic gold medalist in wrestling became a champ-champ in the promotion, as he won the vacant bantamweight title. Meanwhile, the women’s flyweight champ scored one of the scariest knockouts in MMA history. Shevchenko floored Jessica Eye in the opening of the second round, sending her straight to the canvas with a perfect head kick.
