The heated rivalry between former boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi and former UFC veteran Artem Lobov came to a violent conclusion at BKFC 6 in Tampa Bay.
Malignaggi, a former IBF junior welterweight and the WBA welterweight champion, previously signed an exclusive contract with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in order to challenge Lobov, one of the main training partners Conor McGregor.
But when the two finally locked horns inside the BKFC squared circle, the outcome wasn’t what most fans expected as Lobov edged out a narrow decision over Malignaggi on judges’ scorecard.
