Chan Sung Jung’s latest highlight-reel finish earned him yet another Fight Night bonus.
“The Korean Zombie” is leaving South Carolina with an extra $50,000 after needing just 58 seconds to punch out featherweight contender Renato Moicano in the main event of UFC Greenville on Saturday.
This is Jung’s seventh bonus in as many UFC appearances and he is now tied with featherweight champion Max Holloway and Cub Swanson for the most bonuses in division history.
The evening’s other Performance of the Night bonus went to heavyweight Jair Rozenstruik who earned his first Fight Night bonus with a stunning nine-second knockout of Allen Crowder.
Deron Winn had a successful UFC debut with a unanimous decision win over late-notice replacement Eric Spicely and both middleweights were rewarded with $50,000 bonuses for putting on the Fight of the Night.
This is Spicely’s first bonus since Sept. 24, 2016, when he upset Thiago Santos by first-round submission.
