Mackenzie Dern announces birth of daughter

Mackenzie Dern had her first kid Sunday.

Dern, who hasn’t ruled out a return to the Octagon in the future, announced her daughter Moa’s birth in a recent Instagram post.

Dern last fought Amanda Cooper at UFC 224 on May 12, 2018. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace defeated Cooper by first-round submission. Though Dern has struggled to make weight since making the move to pro MMA in 2016, she is unbeaten so far in seven fights, including two UFC appearances.
