Deron Winn has spoken about having trouble booking opponents and he’ll have to find a new one for his UFC debut.
On Thursday, Markus Perez announced via Instagram that an injury has forced him to withdraw from his UFC Greenville middleweight bout with Winn that was scheduled for June 22 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

According to Perez, he suffered an injury (the details of which he did not disclose) in training and he is expected to undergo surgery Friday.
In four UFC outings, Perez (11-2) has alternated wins and losses, most recently defeating Anthony Hernandez by second-round anaconda choke at UFC Fortaleza in February. Winn, an NCAA wrestling standout, is unbeaten in five pro MMA bouts.
