The Portuguese middleweight caused “The Assassin” trouble early on by bulldozing him to the mat. Just before the four-minute mark, Edwards separated Neto from his senses with a couple of up-kicks before leaping to his feet and finishing him with punches.
Improving to 7-0 with the win, Edwards has already outlined his plans to face the winner of a meeting of prospects—Mike Shipman vs. Costello Van Steenis—at Bellator London.
