The last fight of Cris Cyborg’s current contract will be against one of the featherweight division’s fastest rising prospects.

Officials announced Friday that Cyborg will fight the undefeated Felicia Spencer at in a 145-pound bout at UFC 240 on July 27 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta. A former featherweight champion in the UFC, Invicta FC, and Strikeforce, this will only be Cyborg’s fourth non-title fight since August 2009.

The matchup was first reported by ESPN.

Cyborg (20-2, 1 NC) has won 20 of her last 21 fights (excluding one no contest), though she is coming off of a 51-second KO loss to Amanda Nunes that cost her a UFC belt. Prior to that, Cyborg was unbeaten in the Octagon, picking up wins over Yana Kunitskaya, Holly Holm, and Tonya Evinger, among others.

She had previously accepted a bout with Spencer on social media after the 28-year-old Canadian called her out following a first-round submission win over Megan Anderson at UFC Rochester in May.

Spencer (7-0)’s impressive UFC debut came after winning all six of her first pro bouts in Invicta FC and capturing that promotion’s featherweight championship.

A middleweight bout between Krzysztof Jotko (20-4) and Marc-Andre Barriault (11-2) was also made official for the July 27 pay-per-view card.

UFC 240 will be headlined by a men’s featherweight title bout between champion Max Holloway and challenger Frankie Edgar.
