A sixth title bout has been added to Cage Warrior’s upcoming “Night of Champions” event.
The English promotion announced Tuesday that Sam Creasey (11-2) will face newcomer Samir Faiddine (10-5) for a vacant flyweight title at Cage Warriors 106 on June 29 at Eventim Apollo in London, England.
This will be Creasey’s second crack at the 125-pound championship after losing to Nathan Greyson in another battle for a vacant title in March of last year. Greyson was later stripped of the title after failing to make weight for his first defense at Cage Warriors 99.
Since losing to Greyson, Creasey has rattled off back-to-back wins over Connor Hignett and Andy Young.
Faiddine, who hails from France, will be making his Cage Warriors debut. In April, he snapped a three-fight skid with a unanimous decision win over Adrianos Stokas at a show in Greece. Faiddine and Creasey were actually scheduled to meet at Cage Warriors 80 back in February 2017, but that bout was canceled.
Cage Warriors 106 will air live on UFC Fight Pass. See the updated lineup below, including five other championship bouts.
