UFC president Dana White and some of his promotion’s biggest stars are heading down to Georgia.
Officials announced Monday that there will be a special UFC Seasonal Press Conference this Friday at 12 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, featuring White and champions Jon Jones, Amanda Nunes, Henry Cejudo, and Rose Namajunas, as well as the respective challengers for their upcoming bouts, Thiago Santos, Holly Holm, Marlon Moraes, and Jessica Andrade.
UFC Rochester headliners Rafael dos Anjos and Kevin Lee will also be in attendance, as will UFC Stockholm headliners Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith.
The press release notes that more athletes are expected to be added to the schedule.
UFC 236 takes place at State Farm Arena on Saturday.
Welterweight contender Ben Askren announced via social media that he will be at the presser, changing his tune after claiming that he wouldn’t be needed due to upcoming opponent Jorge Masvidal being “scared to show up.”
