A key welterweight fight is heading to upstate New York.

On Wednesday afternoon, UFC officials to confirmed to the Democrat and Chronicle a clash between Neil Magny and Vicente Luque in the welterweight co-main event of UFC Rochester on May 18. Farah Hannoun broke the news initially.

Magny (21-7), a veteran of season 16 of The Ultimate Fighter, is looking to right the ship after being knocked out by Santiago Ponzinibbio in November. This setback not only snapped his two-fight winning streak but marked just the second time the Colorado native had been finished with strikes in his career. Prior to this, Magny earned a decision over former interim champ Carlos Condit and a KO of Craig White.

Luque (15-6-1), a veteran of the 21st season of The Ultimate Fighter, is looking to extend his four-fight win streak inside the Octagon. In his most recent outing, “The Silent Assassin” earned a thrilling third-round TKO over Bryan Barberena at UFC Brooklyn in February, as well as his first Fight of the Night bonus. Prior to this, fans saw Luque submit Niko Price and record back-to-back knockout wins over Chad Laprise and Jalin Turner.

The entire card will go down inside the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y. With this latest addition, here is how the card stands:
