Danny Roberts is getting a quick turnaround at UFC Rochester, meeting newcomer Michel Pereira on May 18, sources told MMA Fighting following a report by Combate.

Roberts (16-4) suffered a controversial defeat in his last UFC appearance in London on March 16 after referee Kevin Sataki stopped his welterweight bout with Claudio Silva, claiming that “Hot Chocolate” had verbally tapped to an armbar in the third round. The defeat snapped Roberts’ two-fight winning streak.

Pereira (22-9, 2 no-contests) signed with the UFC in March after scoring entertaining victories in South Korean promotion Road FC, attempting moonsaults, spinning attacks and even a Superman guard pass off of the fence (watch here). Pereira scored 15 of his 22 professional victories by knockout or submission.

The UFC Fight Night card will take place at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y., and air live on ESPN+. Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos will take on Kevin Lee in a welterweight main event.
