Desmond Green got back into the win column in violent fashion.

With losses in three of his last four bouts, including his most recent to Mairbek Taisumov, “The Predator” was in desperate need of a stellar performance against longtime UFC veteran Ross Pearson at UFC Philadelphia.

During the scrap, both fighters danced around the Octagon before Green shot in and secured the single leg takedown. With his opponent crawling towards the Octagon, Green uncorked a barrage of murderous right hooks to Pearson’s jaw, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

This performance not only pushed Green’s (22-8) record to 3-3 inside the Octagon, but marked his sixth career knockout victory. For Pearson (20-16, 1 NC), this setback marked his sixth loss in his last seven fights while dropping his UFC record to 13-13.
