Rose Namajunas vs. Jessica Andrade will be UFC 237 main event

The UFC 237 main event is set.

A previously announced strawweight title bout between champion Rose Namajunas and challenger Jessica Andrade will close out the May 11 pay-per-view event in Rio de Janeiro, MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz confirmed with sources.

No other title bouts were booked for UFC 237, but the promotion had yet to officially declare Namajunas vs. Andrade to be the main event. A poster for the event was released Monday indicating that there would no other headliner added:

The other main card bouts featured on the poster are a featherweight bout between two-time UFC champion Jose Aldo and top contender Alexander Volkanovski, and a middleweight bout between UFC legend Anderson Silva and Jared Cannonier.
