Molly McCann won’t be wasting any time going under the knife after UFC London.

McCann (8-2) is scheduled to undergo surgery Sunday morning for the grisly broken orbital bone she suffered midway through her bout against Priscila Cachoeira on Saturday night. MMA Fighting’s Peter Carroll confirmed the news following an initial report by MMAjunkie.

The flyweight prospect, who goes by the affectionate nickname “Meatball,” persevered through the harrowing injury to defeat Cachoeira via unanimous decision on the preliminary card of UFC London. The performance marked the first Octagon win for the former Cage Warriors champion, who previously suffered a second-round submission loss to Gillian Robertson in her UFC debut.

“Honestly, I’ve been through hell and back since the last fight,” McCann said after her win. “I wanted to give a performance you’d be proud of.”

UFC London took place March 16 at The O2 Arena in London, England.

Welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal knocked out Darren Till in the second round in the night’s main event.
