Knocking one Englishman out cold wasn’t enough for Jorge Masvidal.
Following his second-round KO of Darren Till in the main event of UFC London, “Gamebred” was conducting an interview backstage at The O2 Arena when he spotted fellow UFC welterweight Leon Edwards.
Edwards was also victorious on Saturday, defeating Gunnar Nelson by unanimous decision in the evening’s co-main event, and in the clip below Masvidal can be seen addressing an off-screen Edwards and then confronting him before exchanging punches:

It’s unclear exactly what caused Masvidal to abandon his interview and go after Edwards, but there was guaranteed to be some tension between the two given their high standing in the welterweight rankings.
Perhaps Michael Bisping summed it up best at the end of the clip: “Wow.”
UPDATE: ESPN on UFC correspondent Laura Sanko reported on ESPN+ that Edwards received cuts from Masvidal’s punches and that both men have exited The 02 Arena.
UPDATE (2): Here’s a longer video and the aftermath.
