John Macapa has a date and opponent set for his next Bellator fight.

The Nova Uniao featherweight is slated to welcome Kevin Croom back to the promotion in the preliminary portion of Bellator 218 in Thackerville, Oklahoma, on March 22, Bellator officials told MMA Fighting.

Macapa (21-4-2), who once rode a four-fight winning streak under the Bellator banner and had a 21-1-2 record as a professional fighter, now has his back against the wall after losing three straight, a pair of decisions to Daniel Weichel and Pat Curran prior to a knockout defeat at the hands of A.J. McKee.

Croom (19-11), also known as “The Hard-Hitting Hillbilly”, competed for promotions like LFA, Shooto, Fight Nights, Titan FC and RFA over the past 10 years. Croom fought once under the Bellator banner, submitting Brian Davidson with a rear-naked choke at Bellator 26 in 2010. In his last MMA bout, Croom lost via submission to Kamuela Kirk at LFA 53.

Bellator 218 will take place at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville and feature featherweights Emmanuel Sanchez and Georgi Karakhanyan in the main event. Former light heavyweight title contender Linton Vassell meets Valentin Moldavsky in the second-to-last bout.
