Several fighters on the UFC’s first-ever big card on ESPN have missed weight.

Renan Barao, Jessica Penne and Manny Bermudez all missed their respective limits on the scale Saturday morning at the UFC Phoenix official weigh-ins. They will each be fined a percentage of their purses by the Arizona Boxing & MMA Commission.

Bermudez weighed in at 140 pounds, four pounds over the 136-pound bantamweight limit. Bermudez is scheduled to fight Benito Lopez on the UFC Phoenix prelim card. Bermudez will be fined 30 percent of his purse, per the UFC.

Barao, the former UFC bantamweight champion, missed the the mark by two pounds (138) for a scheduled fight with Luke Sanders. Jessica Penne, the former Invicta FC atomweight champion, came in at 118 pounds, two pounds off the strawweight limit. She is scheduled to fight Jodie Esquibel. Both Barao and Penne will be fined 20 percent of their purse.

Cynthia Calvillo, who missed weight in her last bout at UFC Argentina in November, was the final fighter to hit the scale Saturday morning, but she made the mark at 116 pounds for her strawweight fight with Cortney Casey on the big ESPN main card.

Ashlee Evans-Smith missed weight on her first attempt at 126.5 pounds for a flyweight fight with Andrea Lee. But after stripping down and with the use of the hoop, Evans-Smith made 126 pounds even to successfully weigh in.

All three fighters who missed weight are expected to still compete Sunday.

The heavyweight main event of Francis Ngannou vs. Cain Velasquez is now official. So is the lightweight co-main event pitting James Vick against Paul Felder.
