Bellator has added a young up-and-coming flyweight to its roster.
Officials told MMA Fighting that 20-year-old Greek prospect Elina Kallionidou has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion. This will actually be Kallionidou’s second stint with the promotion after a previous 0-2 run as a teenager.
Kallionidou is 7-2 as a pro, with her only losses coming to Sinead Kavanagh and Anastasia Yankova in the Bellator cage, both by unanimous decision. She has finished her last two opponents since leaving the promotion in 2017, including a nasty third-round knockout of Qihui Yan at an M-1 Challenge show in January.
