Bellator 216 welterweight headliners Michael Page and Paul Daley were among the six fighters to have drug-test samples collected on Wednesday in New York ahead of this weekend’s fights.

MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi confirmed an initial report by ESPN that in addition to Page and Daley, Bellator 215 main event heavyweight Sergei Kharitonov, and Bellator 216 co-main event heavyweights Mirko Cro Cop and Roy Nelson were all subject to random drug tests. Kharitonov fights against Matt Mitrione, who is also expected to be tested.

The Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations are overseeing Bellator 215 and Bellator 216, which take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

A World Grand Prix opening round bout between Page and Daley will serve as the Bellator 216 headliner.
