A flyweight fight between Molly McCann and Ashlee Evans-Smith is currently in the works for the upcoming UFC Fight Night card in London, England on March 21.
Multiple sources confirmed the contest to MMA Fighting on Wednesday following an initial report about the fight by Jim Edwards on Twitter.
After falling in her UFC debut, McCann has picked up three wins in a row including victories over Priscila Cachoeira and Ariane Lipski. McCann, who hails from Liverpool, England, will fight at home for the third time in the UFC, including an appearance at the last card in London this past March.
As for Evans-Smith, the former bantamweight turned flyweight will seek to get back in the win column after losing a unanimous decision to Andrea Lee in her last outing. Evans-Smith is 1-3 in her past four fights with the win coming over Bec Rawlings in her 125-pound debut.
While the UFC has announced the upcoming card in London, a main event for the show has not yet been determined.
