Darrion Caldwell and Adam Borics have a likely date for their featherweight tournament bout.

On Tuesday, officials confirmed that Caldwell (13-3, 1 NC) and Borics (14-0) will fight at Bellator 238 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., on Jan. 25, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals of the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix. The matchup was previously announced following their opening round victories in September, with an exact time and location to be determined later.

Caldwell, a former Bellator bantamweight champion, successfully returned to 145 pounds with a unanimous decision win over Henry Corrales at Bellator 228. He entered the featherweight Grand Prix following back-to-back 135-pound title fight losses to Kyoji Horiguchi, but is 2-0 competing at 145 pounds inside the Bellator cage.

Borics has been untouchable in his pro career thus far and sports a 5-0 Bellator record. The 26-year-old has finished his past six opponents and is coming off of knockouts of former two-time featherweight champion Pat Curran and fellow prospect Aaron Pico.

In the other remaining quarter-final matchups, A.J. McKee will take on Derek Campos at Bellator 236 on Dec. 21, Emmanuel Sanchez will fight Daniel Weichel at a show in February, and champion Patricio Freire will fight Pedro Carvalho at a show in March.

Bellator 238 will be headlined by a featherweight championship bout between defending titleholder Julia Budd and multi-time world champion Cris Cyborg. The main card will air exclusively on the DAZN streaming service.
