Mickey Gall vs. Alex Oliveira pulled from UFC Norfolk

Another fight has fallen through for Mickey Gall.

Officials announced Friday that Gall’s welterweight bout with Alex Oliveira scheduled for UFC Norfolk on Feb. 29 has been canceled. No reason was given for the bout being pulled from the card and it will not be replaced.

The news comes less than two weeks after the Gall-Oliveira bout was made official. It’s the second bout that Gall seen has slip away in recent months as a matchup with former interim champion Carlos Condit at UFC on ESPN 7 on Dec. 7 was spoiled by a Condit injury.

Gall, 27, did manage two Octagon appearances in 2019, winning a unanimous decision over Salim Touahri and losing by second-round TKO to Diego Sanchez.
