Elizeu Zaleski and Alexey Kunchenko have agreed to meet in a welterweight showdown at UFC Brasilia, which takes place March 14 in Brazil. Multiple sources confirmed the match-up to MMA Fighting following a report by Combate.
Zaleski and Kunchenko will attempt to get back on track in the UFC after having their long winning streak snapped earlier this year.
“Capoeira” (21-6) was riding a seven-fight winning streak, which included four stoppages, before losing via third-round knockout to Jingliang Li at UFC Shenzhen in August.
Kunchenko (20-1) suffered the first setback of his professional MMA career in August, losing a decision to Gilbert Burns in Uruguay. The former M-1 Global champion was 2-0 in the UFC with wins over Thiago Alves and Yushin Okami.
The promotion has yet to announce which bout will headline its upcoming show in Brazil. The current line-up includes Paige VanZant vs. Amanda Ribas, Johnny Walker vs. Nikita Krylov, Brad Tavares vs. Antonio Carlos Junior, and Maryna Moroz vs. Mayra Bueno Silva.
