From one former UFC champion to another, Conor McGregor has a positive message for Frankie Edgar.
“The Answer” suffered a quick knockout loss to “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung in the main event of UFC Busan on Saturday and afterwards, Edgar found himself having to deal with critics of his performance. He addressed the matter in a tweet that was later answered by McGregor.

In response, McGregor—who has traded barbs with Edgar in public as the two have been linked to a potential bout on several occasions—offered words of support for the former UFC lightweight champion, referring to Edgar as “an icon.”
