March remains a homecoming month for Danny Roberts.
The native Londoner has been booked for a welterweight fight against Nicolas Dalby at the UFC’s upcoming return to England on March 21, officials announced Monday. This will be the third straight year that Roberts has fought in London in March.
Roberts’s past two outings in London were split, with a submission loss to Claudio Silva this year and a first-round KO of Oliver Enkamp occurring in 2018. “Hot Chocolate” was victorious in his last fight, ending a two-fight skid with a second-round KO of Zelim Imadaev at UFC Moscow in November. His overall record stands at 17-5 with a 6-4 mark inside the Octagon.
In his second stint with the UFC, Dalby (18-3-1, 1 NC) made a successful return to the promotion in September with a unanimous decision win over Alex Oliveira. That fight took place in Dalby’s home country of Denmark. During his time with Cage Warriors, Dalby went 4-1 and captured an interim welterweight title. He also battled Ross Houston to a memorable and bloody no contest in June.
UFC London takes place at 02 Arena, with a headliner yet to be named. The event will air live on the ESPN+ streaming service.
