Charles Jourdain and Doo Ho Choi put on a show inside the cage at UFC Busan, and the Canadian featherweight got the last laugh in enemy territory on Saturday.
The two engaged in an exciting brawl in the opening round, trading hands and kicks early on. Jourdain attempted several flying knees, but Choi was the one to rock and drop him. Jourdain came back on the feet and landed a good flying knee that Choi ate like it was nothing.
Jourdain knocked the South Korean down with 20 seconds left on the clock in the first, but the finish only came in the final minute of the second stanza, when Jourdain rocked him with a counter left and a right hand that put him on the ground. The 24-year-old Canadian kept attacking until referee Peter Hickmott called the bout.

In his post-fight interview, Jourdain said he “would love that 50k bonus to move out of my parent’s basement” and called for a fight with longtime veteran Cub Swanson in 2020.
