Entering Saturday’s main event at UFC Busan, hometown hero Chan Sung Jung looked to put an exclamation mark on the year as he squared off against former UFC lightweight champion turned featherweight contender Frankie Edgar.
Wading into enemy territory, Edgar was hoping to bounce back into the win column after coming up short to former champion Max Holloway in July. Too bad “The Korean Zombie” had dangerous intentions as he steamrolled over Edgar with a devastating barrage of strikes.
This win not only gave Jung his third win in his last four fights, but marked his 14th career stoppage win.
