After a busy 2019, Angela Hill isn’t slowing down.

The veteran strawweight has agreed to step in for an injured Brianna Van Buren to fight Hannah Cifers at UFC Raleigh on Jan. 25 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C., officials announced Thursday. MMA Junkie was first to report the change.

Hill (10-7) competed four times from March to September, twice as a short-notice replacement. She lost both of those short-notice opportunities, but picked up victories over Ariane Carnelossi and Jodie Esquibel. The former Invicta FC strawweight champion has a UFC record of 5-7.

Cifers (10-3) will be seeking her third straight win. She lost to Maycee Barber in her debut back in November 2018, then rebounded with decision wins over Polyana Viana and Esquibel. “Shockwave,” who hails from North Carolina, has won seven of her last eight fights.
