Junior dos Santos’s run at “Dança dos Famosos,” the Brazilian version of Dancing With The Stars, has come to an end on Sunday after the former UFC heavyweight champion was eliminated.

“Cigano” managed to get back on the show after missing a few weeks due to the severe leg injury that forced him out of a UFC Moscow main event clash with Alexander Volkov on Nov. 9, but received the fewest votes of the remaining five contestants with 137.1 points, 0.3 behind the fourth couple.

Speaking with MMA Fighting last week, dos Santos said he planned on flying back to Florida to finish his camp at American Top Team as soon as his participation on DWTS came to an end. “Cigano” has been training at TFT in Rio de Janeiro since joining the TV show.

Dos Santos is currently slated to headline UFC Raleigh against Curtis Blaydes on Jan. 25, his seventh straight main event bout since 2016. “Cigano” last fought in June, losing via first-round knockout to Francis Ngannou. The Brazilian heavyweight was coming off wins over Blagoy Ivanov, Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis going into his clash with “The Predator.”
