Aaron Chalmers is set to return to action on Feb. 22 at Dublin’s 3 Arena when he takes on Austin Clem on the main card of Bellator Dublin, which is set to be headlined by James Gallagher vs. Cal Ellenor.
Bellator’s European team announced several bouts, including Chalmers vs. Clem, via press release on Monday morning.
Chalmers (4-1-0) got back to winning ways with a submission win over Fred Freeman in his last outing following his first career defeat to Corey Browning at Bellator Newcastle. Clem (3-1-0) has only been a professional fighter since Oct. 2018 and rides a two-fight win streak into the contest, which will also be his Bellator debut.
Several more bouts were announced for the February Dublin date’s preliminary card including a high profile European clash between established Welsh campaigner Lewis Long (17-5-0) and former UFC fighter Oliver Enkamp. SBG middleweight Will Fleury (6-2-0) will also look to get back to winning ways when he meets experienced English fighter Justin Moore (9-4-0). TUF alum and one-time UFC fighter Richie Smullen (5-1-1) is also set for action when he faces Ranjeet Baria (3-1-0).
Bellator has also announced that Blaine O’Driscoll (7-3-0) will look to get back into the win column when he faces Ezzoubair Bouarsa (7-1). Danni Neilan (1-0) will look to add to her debut win when she faces Chiara Penco (4-1-0).
