Henry Cejudo calls Jose Aldo a ‘Mexican-looking Dana White’ during cringe-worthy exchange

UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo definitely want to fight each other, that much is clear.

It’s how they are going about trying to make that matchup that has raised a few eyebrows and left more than a few confused at their strange attempts at trash talk on social media.

Cejudo had initially expressed interest in fighting Aldo after UFC 245 where the former featherweight champion fell by split decision to Marlon Moraes. According to UFC president Dana White, Cejudo texted him immediately after the event saying that Aldo deserved a win and he wanted to face him next with the 135-pound title on the line.

He then followed that up by posting a video where the 2008 Olympic gold medalist jumped out of a pool and proceeded to call for the Aldo fight while adding “I want to fight him in my city. Rio de Janeiro. Daddy’s coming home.”

Aldo responded in kind with a video of his own where he shoots at targets with high-powered automatic weapons along with a message aimed at Cejudo.

“I am the King of Rio and you are Snow White’s Security Guard! Sign the Contract and let’s get it right,” Aldo wrote on Twitter.

After unfortunately drawing the Disney princess and her Seven Dwarves into the fight, Cejudo fired back with a unique jab of his own aimed at Aldo.

“You’re going to need a bigger gun to take me out Cinderella!” Cejudo wrote. “This man is made of steel and sex appeal! Bend the knee you Mexican looking Dana White!”

Judging by this exchange, Conor McGregor’s title as the most prolific trash talker in combat sports is safe but Cejudo and Aldo obviously want to get each other’s attention as well as the UFC as they continue to self-promote a potential fight.

Cejudo is currently recovering from shoulder surgery after he won the bantamweight title in June to become a two-division UFC champion. He’s expected to make his return in early 2020.
