Hector Lombard has his first bare-knuckle boxing bout set.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship officials announced Monday that Lombard will fight Joe Riggs at BKFC 10, which is scheduled to take place on Feb. 15 in Miami.

This booking comes on the heels of Lombard, 41, being signed to the promotion in October. A former Bellator middleweight champion with a record of 34-10-1 (2 NC) in MMA, Lombard is seeking his first win after going winless in his last seven appearances for the UFC. His last victory came in March 2014 when he defeated Jake Shields by unanimous decision at UFC 171.

Riggs—another UFC veteran who has an MMA record of 51-18-1 (1 NC)—will be making his fourth professional bare-knuckle boxing appearance and third for BKFC. The 37-year-old is unbeaten in bare-knuckle boxing so far, most recently battling Walber Barros to a draw in June.

“Diesel” went 3-0 in MMA in 2019, including a third-round TKO of UFC veteran George Sullivan in November. He is 9-1-1 dating back to October 2016, competing internationally and on the regional scene.
