At the Bellator 233 weigh-ins, all 28 fighters taking part in Friday night’s Bellator 233 fights stepped on the scale Thursday, and we’ll have the video here at MMA Fighting.
In the main event, middleweight contenders John Salter and Costello van Steenis successfully hit the 185-pound mark (with one-pound allowance).
Preliminary card fighters Jason Perrotta and Robert Gidron came in heavy. Their bouts will proceed at a catchweight and they will forfeit 20 percent of their purse to their respective opponents. MMA Fighting confirmed the purse forfeitures with Bellator officials.
