Just two days after earning a 29-second knockout against Andrei Arlovski at UFC 244, Jairzinho Rozenstruik makes a quick turnaround to face Alistair Overeem in the new main event of UFC on ESPN 7, which takes place Dec. 7 in Washington D.C.

UFC officials confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following an initial report from ESPN.com citing UFC president Dana White.

Rozenstruik replaces Walt Harris, who was forced to drop out of the fight as the search continues for his 19-year-old stepdaughter Aniah Blanchard after she went missing on Oct. 23.

Undefeated in his career, Rozenstruik will take a step up in competition to face Overeem on Dec. 7 after earning three straight wins to kick off his octagon tenure.

In addition to his knockout over Arlovski this past weekend, the 31-year-old heavyweight from Suriname has also finished Junior Albini and Allen Crowder in his past performances inside the Octagon.

As for Overeem, he looks to build momentum with knockouts out Sergei Pavlovich and Alexey Oleynik marking his past to appearances.

Overeem vs. Rozenstruik will headline the upcoming UFC on ESPN 7 card, which also features former interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit taking on Mickey Gall and Aspen Ladd facing Yana Kunitskaya in a women’s bantamweight showdown.
