Cage Warriors has announced three Irish dates following the promotion’s successful event in Cork, Ireland on Saturday night, Cage Warriors 110, which took place at the Neptune Stadium.
The promotion announced the dates via press release on Monday morning following Graham Boylan’s post-fight declaration that the promotion could return to Ireland up to four times in 2020.
Cage Warriors is set to dock in Belfast on May 16 for an event at the SSE Arena before travelling back to Cork for another event on July 25. The promotion has also booked a second 2020 event at the SSE Arena on Sept. 26.
Known for producing the vast majority of Irish talent for the UFC over the years including Conor McGregor, Neil Seery, Cathal Pendred, Joseph Duffy and Paul Redmond, Cage Warriors showcased a new cast of Irish UFC hopefuls in Cork last weekend with notable victories from Rhys McKee, Joe McColgan, Ian Garry and John Mitchell on the main card.
Speaking after his main event win in his welterweight debut, McKee called for a Belfast title shot to headline Cage Warriors’ first visit to Northern Ireland in 2020.
