Joanna Jedrzejczyk plans on making weight and fighting on Saturday night.

The former UFC strawweight champion, who’s booked to take on Michelle Waterson in the main event of Saturday’s UFC event in Tampa Fla., took to Instagram stories to address the recent reports from Combate that suggested she was struggling to get down to the strawweight limit of 116 pounds for Friday morning’s weigh-ins, putting in jeopardy her key strawweight bout.

In a series of stories on her Instagram, Jedrzejczyk said the following:

“I don’t know what’s going on, the weigh-ins are tomorrow [They’re scheduled for Friday morning] and you’re all worried about,” Jedrzejczyk said. “The fight is on, the weighs-in are on Friday. Keep it calm, guys. All fine, step by step. I will see you there.

“Did I miss something? Did I miss the weigh-ins today or what? Because the weigh ins are on Friday, isn’t it?”

Jedrzejczyk last competed at 125 pounds when she challenged Valentina Shevchenko for the flyweight title in December at UFC 231. The last time the Polish fighter competed at 115 pounds was in July 2018 where she outpointed Tecia Torres. Jedrzejczyk, 32, has never missed weight in her five-year run with the UFC.
