Heavyweights Ciryl Gane and Tanner Boser are making a quick return to the cage.
Officials announced Thursday that Gane and Boser will meet at UFC Busan on Dec. 21 at Sajik Arena.
The bout pits two fighters with roots in Canada against one another. Gane, a native of France, won his first three fights and a heavyweight title competing for Quebec’s TKO promotion, while Boser has been a mainstay on the Alberta MMA.
Gane will look to improve to 3-0 inside the Octagon and 6-0 overall as a pro. The 28-year-old has finished all of his bouts, with two submission wins in his first two UFC appearances. He most recently fought at UFC Singapore on Oct. 26, where he defeated Don’Tale Mayes with a heel hook late in round three.
Boser, also 28, made a successful promotional debut at UFC on ESPN 6 on Oct. 18, winning a convincing decision against Daniel Spitz. His pro record stands at 17-5-1.
UFC Busan will be headlined by a featherweight bout between Brian Ortega and “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, with the main card airing on the ESPN+ streaming service.
