Bellator will return to Hawaii on Dec. 21 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena with flyweight champion Ilima-Lei MacFarlane set to defend her title in the main event.

MacFarlane will face off with former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor Kate Jackson in the headline fight with a quarterfinal fight in the Bellator Featherweight Grand Prix between A.J. McKee and Derek Campos will serve as the co-main event.

Bellator officials confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Thursday following an initial report from KHON in Hawaii.

A native of Hawaii, MacFarlane headlined Bellator 213 in her home state last year in an emotional victory for the 29-year-old champion.

MacFarlane is undefeated in her career with a perfect 10-0 record with a win over Veta Arteaga in her last title defense.

She now faces Jackson, who comes into the fight with a 11-3-1 record including back-to-back victories in Bellator.

Meanwhile, the co-main event will be the first quarterfinal matchup in the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix with fights taking place in December, January, February, and March.

McKee steps back into the cage after a staggering eight-second knockout in his last fight against Georgi Karakhanyan while Campos picked up a decision victory against Daniel Straus to move forward in the tournament.

More fights will be added to the upcoming Bellator card in Hawaii in the coming weeks.
