Charlie Ward will get his chance to continue his winning ways soon.
After Ward’s bout with Pietro Penini at Bellator Dublin this past September fell through due to a Ward injury, the two have been re-booked for a middleweight bout at an upcoming Bellator show in London on Nov. 23 at SSE Arena.
Ward (7-3), a product of Ireland’s SBG team, has won four straight fights since parting ways with the UFC two years ago. All of his wins in Bellator have come by way of KO/TKO, including three consecutive first-round finishes to begin his run with the promotion.
Penini (8-1-1, 1 NC) will be making his Bellator debut. The 26-year-old Italian has previously competed for Venator FC and is currently on a two-fight win streak.
Bellator London will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Michael Page and Derek Anderson.
