Bellator 214 salaries: Fedor Emelianenko, Ryan Bader to cash six-figure purses

Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader will take home a nice chunk of change for their Heavyweight Grand Prix finals matchup at Bellator 214.

Emelianenko and Bader, who headline Saturday’s card at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., handily led Bellator 214’s official salary report, according to information released on Friday to MMA Fighting by the California State Athletic Commission. Emelianenko is slated to earn a flat $300,000 purse with no win bonus for the heavyweight championship matchup, while Bader is similarly set to earn a flat $150,000 purse with no win bonus.

In the featherweight co-main event, blue-chip prospect Aaron Pico is scheduled to earn a $45,000/$45,000 show/win split, while The MMA Lab’s Henry Corrales is set to earn a show/win split of $35,000/$35,000. Elsewhere on the main card, former WWE champion and MMA debutante Jake Hager — a.k.a. Jake Swagger — is expected to cash a flat $50,000 purse with no win bonus for his mixed martial arts debut against J.W. Kiser ($7,000/$7,000).

The night’s main card, which airs live on Paramount Network, is rounded out by bantamweights Juan Archuleta ($25,000/$0) vs. Ricky Bandejas ($30,000/$0), and featherweights Brandon McMahon ($3,500/$3,500) vs. Adel Altamimi ($10,000/$10,000).

Bellator 214 takes place Jan. 25 in Inglewood, Calif.
