Yoel Romero is staying busy outside of the Octagon.
The 41-year-old Cuba native is currently participating on the reality show Exathlon, which features athletes from all walks of life competing in various obstacle courses and physical challenges. The latest season debuted Monday night on Telemundo in the United States.
In it, the three-time UFC title challenger will compete in daily episodes every week for upwards of three to four months, until he is either crowned the season’s winner or eliminated from the competition.
More specific rules of the series can be read here.
Notably, fellow UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal competed last season on the Telemundo version of the show. He was eliminated in week 13 of the eventual 17-week season.
