UFC Phoenix poster released

It’s been a while, but Cain Velasquez is back in a featured role on a UFC card.

The two-time heavyweight champion is seen trading shots with Francis Ngannou on the yellow-tinted poster for UFC Phoenix, which takes place on Feb. 17 at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Ngannou is Velasquez’s first fight since July 2016.

This bout headlines the UFC’s main card debut on ESPN television.

The UFC Phoenix lineup is still to be determined, but it will include a lightweight bout between James Vick and Paul Felder, and battle of bantamweight contenders Aljamain Sterling and Jimmie Rivera.
