Conor McGregor took shots at adversary Khabib Nurmagomedov and former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi, urging both to stop “bitching” in a social media in the early hours of Saturday morning.

While addressing a rumor that was circulating regarding a boxing bout with Paulie Malignaggi—Malignaggi denied the reports in an interview with the Daily Express—McGregor went back to the face off he shared with the boxer ahead of his boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Aug. 2017. At the time, Malignaggi confronted McGregor about images that were released from their sparring sessions, which he felt portrayed their sessions in a more favorable light for the Dubliner.

The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion goes on to explain why he believes he had more grounds to complain that the champion.

But a fight is a fight who gives a fuck. Crying to the referee like a proper bitch. I was trying to dig my fingers into his Adams Apple. Many individuals in the fight business, I have learned lately, are absolute bitches. I know you’s are broke boys. But don’t be broke bitches.”

A few hours later, Nurmagomedov appeared to respond to McGregor by posting two images; one of McGregor tapping to a rear-naked choke and the other of him landing a punch on the ground Irishman.

He captioned the post: “You will live with this shame all your life, bi...”
