Known for being extremely laid back in his wrestling persona, Matt Riddle had a moment of “no chill” in regards to his former boss, UFC president Dana White.

A former UFC fighter, Riddle was cut from the promotion in 2013 after testing positive for marijuana a second time. He would fight once more before embarking on a career in professional wrestling, where he has received rave reviews for his performances. Riddle, 32, was recently announced as a new member of the NXT roster, which is the developmental brand of the WWE, and he made an appearance at a show in August.

Riddle took a shot at White on Saturday, posting a short clip that spliced together a 2013 FOX Sports interview with White, and Riddle’s WWE debut.

In the first part of the clip, White is seen telling Chael Sonnen that Riddle is a “dummy” and that he wants to know “where this rocket scientist is gonna go and make 100-something-thousand dollars a year.”

The second part shows Riddle being cheered on by a rowdy crowd of wrestling fans at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

“Hey Dana, remember that time you fired me and talked all that s**t on me to the world and called me a loser?” Riddle wrote in response to White’s old statement. “I just wanted to say thank you for everything, dummy.”

Whatever Riddle is set to make with the WWE, it’s clearly enough for him to have no regrets about making the move to pro wrestling.
