Longtime UFC veteran Erick Silva has signed an exclusive, multi-fight deal with Bellator, his manager Rafael Cavalcante revealed on social media Thursday. Bellator officials confirmed the news to MMA Fighting.
The 34-year-old fighter has no date and opponent set yet, but is expected to make his promotional debut later this year.
Silva recently joined Team Nogueira in Rio de Janeiro and scored a first-round win in his first post-UFC appearance in June, submitting Nick Barnes in the main event of LFA 45.
Silva went 12-1 with one no contest in the Brazilian circuit prior to his UFC run, winning the Jungle Fight belt in the process.
