Cian Cowley has re-upped with Brave CF.
The promotion confirmed the news during the Brave 16 broadcast, while announcing Cowley was set to return at upcoming Brave 18 event in November. An opponent has yet to be named.
Cowley was part of the group of individuals, led by Conor McGregor, that stormed the Barclay’s Center during UFC 223 media day in April in search of Khabib Nurmagomedov. During the incident, McGregor was seen smashing a dolly through the a bus window in an attempt to get at his Dagestani rival.
The two SBG Ireland teammate later turned themselves in to the New York Police Department and released on $50,000 and $25,000 bond, respectively. For his involvement, McGregor faced a potential 12 criminal charges. Both men eventually informed the court they planned to negotiate a plea deal, with Cowley also pleading guilty to one count of disorderly conduct.
In terms of competition, Cowley (1-1) a multiple-time Muay Thai champion, is coming off a first round TKO win in his promotion debut over Daniel Olejniczak at Brave CF 13.
